It may look like a beautiful day in the neighborhood, but some ugly pollution could be making it hard to breathe.

Check out Stratford's air quality report on the map above to keep track of ozone and fine particulate levels in the area and save this page for updated levels daily.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency website, high levels of air pollutants can adversely affect older adults, those with asthma and other lung diseases, people who are active outdoors and children.

Sensitive groups should limit the duration and intensity of outdoor activities during heavy air pollution days.

A full breakdown of air pollution health effects can be found on the EPA website.

How much air pollution is too much? Here is the Air Quality Index breakdown:

Green - Good (Range of 0 to 50)

Yellow - Moderate (51-100)

Orange - Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (101-150)

Red - Unhealthy (151-200)

Purple - Very Unhealthy (201-300)

Maroon - Hazardous (301-500)
