Call for Artists: Artists & Artisans in Paradise

“Paradise” Art Show sends out A Call for Artists and Artisans

The Stratford Arts Guild announces a call for artists, artisans, and crafters for “Artists & Artisans in Paradise 2014″ to be held Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Paradise Green, in Stratford, CT.

The guild welcomes applications from fine artists and artisans who create work from across the spectrum of the handmade arts, including fine artists, makers of original arts and crafts, and food artisans. Please: NO MASS-MARKET, RESOLD WORK, IMPORTS OR CRAFTS FROM KITS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS SHOW.

The event is in its second year. Last summer, it hosted over 30 arts exhibitors, a face painter, food vendors, and Italian ice vendor. An estimated 1,000 locals visited the green and some exhibitors reported selling up to 70 percent of their wares.
