Two Roads Chief to Speak at Library

Stratford Brewery's Peter Doering is Scheduled on October 6th at 2 pm

The Stratford Library will return with a new season of "Sunday Afternoon Talks", its monthly series of informative and entertaining talks featuring prominent local guest speakers, on October 6th at 2pm with Peter Doering, one of the founding partners of the Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford. The popular program invites notable locals to speak in an informal atmosphere on a wide range of topics.

Doering has an extensive background in manufacturing operations and finance over a 30-year career that included running offshore oil rigs, structuring financial products on Wall Street and overseeing shipbuilding projects. He has a B.S. from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from Harvard University. At the library program Doering will speak about transforming an old building into a new business which is the story behind the development of the Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford. He will also describe the start-up process from Business Plan to First Beer.

"Sunday Afternoon Talks" with Peter Doering will be held in the library's Lovell Room beginning at 2 pm on Sunday, October 6th. The Peabody Museum and its current "Ancient Egypt" exhibit will be the topic for the November 3rd session.
