Get in the Holiday Spirit with Concerts & Movie at the Stratford Library

“Peter Pan”, Kids Choir, Hungrytown Duo to Entertain in December

The Stratford Library will present a series of holiday concerts and film events during the month of December.

The programs include a children’s choir, folk duo and the screening of a rare silent film. The holiday schedule includes:

  • December 1: Kingdom Life Christian Church Kids Choir. Christmas concert. 2 pm
  • December 3: Al deCant, The Singing Principal. Family holiday program precedes Stratford’s annual tree lighting ceremony at Town Hall. 2 pm
  • December 8: Hungrytown for the Holidays! Singer/songwriting folk duo of Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson perform their seasonal concert. 2 pm
  • December 15: “Peter Pan”. The original silent 1924 film version of J. M Barrie’s classic will be shown featuring live musical accompaniment by musician and film historian Jeff Rapsis. Sponsored by the Friends of Square One Theatre Company. 2 pm
  • December 17: Baldwin Chamber Players Holiday Concert. The musicians perform their annual concert featuring music from a variety of time periods. 1 pm

All programs are held in the Stratford Library Lovell Room, 2203 Main Street in Stratford, Connecticut. They are free and open to the public. Limited seating. Call the Library’s Public Relations & Programming Office at 203.385.3162.
