Saturday: The Stratford Library Children's Department will host a special Mother's Day event on Saturday, May 4 at 10:30 am in the Library's Lovell Room. Martha Simpson, Head of Children's Services, will read her new book, "What Not to Give Your Mom on Mother's Day" followed by a craft (for mom, of course!) and refreshments. Signed copies of the book will be available for $13 and proceeds directly benefit the Library. For more information or to reserve a book, call the Library at 203.385.4165.

Sunday: The Stratford Library "Sunday Afternoon Talks" series will present "Connecticut All Stars of Aviation" on Sunday, May 5 at 2 pm.
