Stratford Artist's Work On View at Stratford Library

Original colored pencil drawings feature Stratford landmarks.

"Local Landscapes" by Mark Dittmar is the April art exhibit at the . The Stratford artist is making his second library appearance with his original colored pencil drawings. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Originally from Fairfield, Mark Dittmar graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School where he initially developed his drawing skills. He gained additional experience in hard line and perspective drawing while receiving a degree in Architecture at Norwalk Technical College. He is inspired by the architecture and scenic land and seascapes in greater Fairfield County -- much of which is reflected in this current exhibit. 

The art exhibit will continue through Monday, April 30, in the lobby of the Stratford Library, 2203 Main Street, Stratford, Conn.
