Catch 'The Avengers' at the Library Friday Night

'The Avengers' is our pick for Friday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m.

For this week's free Friday night movie at the Stratford Library, we are showing "The Avengers," one of the year's biggest hits.

Featuring an all-star lineup of superheroes -- including Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk and Captain America – who team up to save the world from certain doom.

Working under the authority of S.H.I.E.L.D., can our heroes keep the planet at peace?

Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner star.

What you need to know:

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Complimentary snacks will be served.

Come to the library door at the Main Street entrance-it will be open at 6:30 pm.

Movie begins at 7 p.m. - Lovell Room

PG-13, 143 minutes
