2014 In The Spotlight Takes The Stage in a Hilarious Musical Comedy!!

The 2014 production of In The Spotlight, Best Foot Forward, is slated for August 7, 8, 9, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the air-conditioned Stratford Theatre, 2242 Main Street. A 2:00 p.m. matinee is also offered on Saturday.

This is the 27th summer performance season of In The Spotlight and nearly 30 Stratford youth comprise the cast and orchestra. In The Spotlight is a cooperative effort of Town of Stratford Community Services and Sterling House Community Center. “With music and lyrics by the team that brought us ‘Meet Me in St. Louis’ and ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’, our cast this summer attacks the comedy like it is a Sit-Com and comes across extremely funny, warm and winning! Not to be missed!,” said Kevin Miller, Stratford resident and the production’s director. Will Duchon, of Stratford, is handling the musical direction, and Stratford resident Stefania Braganca is the choreographer. “Stratford can be very proud of its gifted young actors and performers. The kids have taken a relatively obscure show and brought it to life convincingly. Kudos to our fantastic director Kevin Miller for once again conveying his theatrical expertise as well as his boundless enthusiasm,” adds Duchon.
