Pennies for the Philippines

Beginning on Monday, November 18th, the eighth graders will be placing containers in each classroom and the office to appeal for donations to Save the Children in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan devastating the Philippines. Efforts to raise money for the victims will continue through Friday, December 6th, according to organizer and eighth grade teacher Mrs. Agoglia. "Along with our own donations for Catholic Relief Services at our Christmas luncheon, we can make a difference. It’s what we teach- and practice- at Saint James. It’s what we’re all about" says Agoglia.
