Brakettes' Winning Streak Ends at 168

Stratford team's impressive streak snapped by Ohio team Tuesday night.

Three weeks after winning a , the Stratford Brakettes had its 168-game winning streak snapped Tuesday night in Ohio.

The 5-3 loss came in the first game of a doubleheader against the Akron Racers of the National Pro Fastpitch League.

The Brakettes were up 2-1 after the top of the fourth inning but gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the fifth. They committed two errors in the game.

Stratford's softball dynasty also lost the second game of the doubleheader as Akron scored two in the bottom of the eighth for a walk-off 5-3 victory.
