Volunteer coaches are always needed. Requirements that are more important than a knowledge of the game include: an understanding of the need for kids to stay active and have fun; the capacity to treat all players fairly, regardless of ability; a personality that can be a mature role model, despite any challenges of the game; and a man or woman who knows how to win or lose with dignity.
