Teen Volunteer Connection Night thru Stratford Recreation

Stratford Recreation will hold a volunteer meeting at the Birdseye Complex on March 21st and at Flood School on March 29th for those interested in volunteering this summer. The meetings will begin at 6:00pm. We are seeking teens entering 8th –12th   grade.  Applications are available at the Office. For more information call 203-385-4052.

The Stratford Recreation Department is always searching for qualified individuals to volunteer in our programs.  The department has a host of programs and can always use qualified individuals year round.  Volunteers are needed to keep score for leagues, to teach a particular skill (for example needlepoint or sewing) read to children, front desk attendant, teach computer skills, drawing, teach and assist in summer camp programs. Volunteer opportunities involve the afterschool programs, the summer programs, the playground carnival, the fishing derby, and Halloween Hoopla.  We have applications at the office for qualified individuals.  Background checks and physicals are required.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
