Team Uno and Lakers Win in Sterling House Hoop League

Action comes in Junior Varsity Division in the Sterling House high school basketball league.

It wasn’t the weather to blame this time, but rather the results of the weather.  Last weekend’s (Feb. 12/13)  games in the Sterling House high school basketball league were postponed because of a compromised roof over the gymnasium at Flood Middle School.

In most recent play in the Junior Varsity division, Team Uno had an easy time with the Truth, winning 51-33 as Robert Koripsky tallied a dozen points. Anthony Johnson and James Shannon had seven points each for the Truth.

In the other game of the night, also a JV affair, Jordan Jackson was high scorer for the Lakers as they topped the Knicks 35-29.  Matt Decker hit ten points for the Knicks.
