How Does Connecticut Rate in Small Business Friendliness?

Connecticut received a D grade in small business friendliness, according to a survey by Thumbtack. 

Illinois received the worst rating in the survey. Rhode Island and California also received failing grades. New Jersey also received a D grade. 

The survey looked at several issues, including: 
  • Business-friendly licensing regulations
  • Ease of filing taxes
  • Tax rates
  • Government-sponsored training programs
Utah, Idaho, Texas, Virginia and Louisiana received the highest rating for small business friendliness.

Raising a federal tax will affect all states equally. You mean to criticize ct state gas taxes which were set by the previous Republican governors.

Like we really need another tax, State or Fed. We should wipe "Constitution State" from our license plates & replace it with "Tax State"! It's certainly more appropriate at the present.
