Stratford Educator Leaving District for Milford

Max Berkowitz, assistant principal at Bunnell High School for the past 11 years, has accepted a position in the Milford public schools district as the principal at Foran High School.

Berkowitz began his teaching career here in August 1993 as a social studies teacher at Bunnell, a position he held for 8 years before being promoted to assistant principal at the high school located in the northern section of town.

A spokesperson for Stratford schools says the hiring process for a replacement will start soon.
