Most Stratford CMT Scores Below State Average

Stratford sixth-graders were the only students to score above the state average on all categories.

Stratford fourth-, fifth-, seventh- and eighth-graders, on average, all scored below the state average on the 2012 Connecticut Mastery Test.

Third-graders, on average, scored better than the state on reading and writing, but below the state average on mathematics.

Stratford sixth-graders performed the best overall, scoring above the state average in all categories. Students' average scale score in writing, 269.8, was more than nine points above the state average in that category.
