Stroke Screening

Griffin Hospital Community Outreach & Parish Nurses Mobile Health Resource Van will provide free stroke screenings on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 9:00 am –12:00 pm.  Stroke is the third leading cause of death and major cause of serious, long-term disability.  According to the National Stroke Association, a person experiencing a stroke can be treated if people act F.A.S.T.  Learn about your risk factors for stroke, warning signs, prevention & taking action F.A.S.T. Take 10 minutes for this important, free screening.  Call Marie Guman @ 203-385-4055 to sign up for the screening. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome.
