Parenting in the Age of Facebook Presentation Offered

Stratford parents are invited to attend an evening presentation by New Haven F.B.I. Special Agent Thomas Lawlor on tips and techniques for parents in the age of Facebook, cell phones and cyberspace. 

It will be held at the Wooster Middle School Auditorium and is sponsored by Wooster and Flood Middle School PTAs, Wooster’s Creative Learning After School Program (CLASP), Flood Learns After School Hours (FLASH), Stratford Youth and Family Advisory Board and Partnerships for Success Coalition. 

Cyber-bulling, sexting, child predators and internet artifacts are among the topics of the presentation.  Wooster PTA President Sarah Voccola said, “Parents are encouraged to attend this informative program.”  Sherri Kelley, Flood PTA President added, “Parents need to be as informed as possible.”
