With less than four hours to go before polls close today, 18 percent of Stratford Republicans have cast their vote in the U.S. Senate primary between Linda McMahon and Chris Shays, the office of the registrar reports as of 4 p.m.
And as of the same time, nine percent of Stratford residents registered as Democrat have voted in the primary, with the candidates on that side of the aisle being Susan Bysiewicz and Chris Murphy.
The eighth and ninth districts are drawing the most voters, percentage-wise, the registrar reports.
