Councilman: Email Me If Your Street Needs Plowing

Seventh District Councilman Craig Budnick reaches out to his constituents.

Editor's note: Budnick told Stratford Patch he'll message his fellow Town Council members about releasing a joint statement on the cleanup effort.

By Craig Budnick

I have noticed that several streets in the 7th District have not seen a plow and many look like they were done with private resources. Please contact me at cbudnick@townofstratford.com to let me know if your street does not at least have one passable lane.

I want to thank everyone for their patience which I know is wearing thin. I have received many positive stories about neighbors helping one another and giving our hard-working Public Works Department a pat on the back.

The town has additional outside resources that are being employed to help us dig out. For all emergencies continue to call 911 as our emergency services are being assisted by heavy equipment to help get them down impassable streets.

If you are aware of any people in need of services that fall outside the realm of the police department please send the requests to my email and we will mobilize resources to assist.

Again thank you to all the citizens for their patience and to all our merchants in the Paradise Green area for opening and serving the community.

Thank you.
