Senator Kelly Thanks Stratford Residents For Input

A letter to the editor on behalf of Sen. Kevin Kelly (R-21).

By Sen. Kevin Kelly

Last week I attended two “Legislators on Your Sidewalk” events in Stratford and Shelton. On Monday, I attended an event with Rep. Larry Miller and Rep. Jason Perillo at the Stop & Shop in Shelton, and on a very rainy Wednesday, I attended an event with Rep. Miller at the Stop & Shop in Stratford. I am grateful that Stop & Shop allowed us to stand on their sidewalk and meet with you to talk about jobs, the economy, and other issues to improve our community. I would like to thank all of the individuals and neighbors who shared their thoughts on significant issues with me.

It is always refreshing to discuss matters of importance with you, and sidewalk events such as these allow us to hear your thoughts and concerns. I will be bringing these ideas with me to Hartford and sharing them with the General Assembly with the hope of creating better public policy for our families when the legislative session begins next spring. If you could not attend and would like to share your comments, please feel free send an email to Kevin.Kelly@cga.ct.gov or call at 860.240.8800.
