Mayor's Budget Focus of Two Public Hearings This Week

Residents have two chances this week to voice their opinion on the mayor's proposed budget.

There are two public hearings this week where Stratford taxpayers can weigh in on the mayor's proposed budget for next fiscal year.

Stratford High School will host the first on Tuesday at 7 p.m. And Flood Middle School the second on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Mayor John A. Harkins' budget raises the average tax bill a little less than $30. It's a 0.91 increase in spending over the current fiscal year.
