Top Official of Sikorsky Aircraft Union Accused of Embezzlement

Harvey Jackson has been accused of embezzling at least $13,000 in union funds.

The chief of the union representing the employees of Stratford's Sikorsky Aircraft Co. has been accused by an independent review board of embezzling at least $13,000 in union funds, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports that Harvey Jackson, the president and business agent of the Teamsters Local 1150, is accused of charging his family's cell phone bills to his union credit card and using the card to purchase cameras, stereo speakers, a high-end DVD player, projector and other electronics for his personal use.
