Stratford Woman Arrested in Milford for Heroin, Crack

Jennifer Greenberg of Stratford and a Bridgeport man face several narcotics charges.

A 22-year-old Stratford woman was arrested Wednesday on narcotics charges after police executed a search warrant on a Milford home where they said they found heroin, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Jennifer Greenberg of Barnum Avenue, along with Joe Gantt of Bridgeport, were taken into custody after the search at 1015 Boston Post Road reportedly discovered 380 bindles of heroin, 8.7 grams of crack cocaine, a scale and assorted packaging materials.

Stratford police helped Milford officers in the joint investigation into alleged narcotics sales in the two towns.

Greenberg and Gantt both were charged with possession of narcotics; conspiracy to possess narcotics; possession of narcotics with intent to sell; conspiracy to possess narcotics with intent to sell; possession of drug paraphernalia; and conspiracy to possess drug paraphernalia.

Greenberg was additionally charged two counts of sale of narcotics. Gantt was held on a $300,000 bond and Greenberg on a $100,000 bond and were scheduled to be arraigned in court on Feb. 7.
