Stratford Warming Stations Open Till Cold Breaks

All four fire stations are available for residents who may want to warm up.

Residents seeking shelter from this week's extreme cold can warm up at any of Stratford's four fire stations (listed below), from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Fire Headquarters, 2750 Main Street
  • Huntington Road Fire Station, 1415 Huntington Road
  • Lordship Fire Station, 20 Prospect Drive
  • Oronoque Fire Station, 200 Oronoque Lane

The stations "will be available until the deep cold snap breaks," Marc Dillon, the mayor's chief of staff, told Stratford Patch in an email Wednesday.
