Stratford Police Searching for Suspect in Gas Station Armed Robbery

The suspect (pictured) brandished a knife in the robbery early Saturday morning, police said.

Stratford police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery at the Gulf Gas Station located at 245 Honeyspot Road.

Police Monday afternoon said the incident happened at about 1:39 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.

The suspect (pictured) is a white male described as being in his late- to early-40s with white facial hair, police said. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans and white sneakers.

The suspect displayed a knife and demanded cash from the attendant, who surrendered about $60 from the register before the suspect fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, police said.
