The religious leader of the Stratford Baptist Church for the past 16 years, Rev. Robert Genevicz, has confessed to his accused sins of scamming an elderly church member out of more than $173,000.

Hearst Connecticut Media has obtained a typewritten confession Genevicz made to Stratford police.
