Stratford Man Pleads Guilty in Nail Salon Crash Case
Dennis Leach of Stratford could spend nine months in prison.
Dennis Leach, 47 of Stratford, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Bridgeport court to second-degree assault with a motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated, according to CT News.
Leach allegedly drove his car through the window of Pretty Nails salon on Barnum Avenue Cutoff on April 12, 2013, injuring eight people, CT News reported.
At the time of the accident, Leach was charged with operating while under the influence; risk of injury to a minor; second-degree assault with a motor vehicle (four counts); and third-degree assault (five counts), according to a May 2013 Patch.com article.

Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin could sentence Leach to nine months in prison at Leach’s next court date on Aug. 19, CT News reported.
