Stratford Man Nabbed for Pot at DUI Checkpoint

Norwalk police arrested the suspected pot dealer Saturday night.

Norwalk police conducting a DUI checkpoint Saturday arrested a Stratford man who allegedly was found to have a suspected marijuana plant, nine small bags of pot and a large amount of cash in his vehicle, according to a report published on The Hour.

Stephan Hinds, 33, of 353 Sedgewick Ave., was charged with illegal possession near a school, illegal manufacture, distribution, sale of prescription drugs and possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana, The Hour reported.

Hinds was reportedly held on $25,000 bond and is due in court Jan. 17.
