A 19-year-old Stratford man has been charged with second-degree sexual assault after allegedly having sexual intercourse with an underage Naugatuck girl with whom he was an acquaintance.
Anthony Trotta III was charged with second-degree sexual assault; intercourse; and unable to consent. That charge is levied against adults who have sex with someone with a girl between 13 and 16 years old, according to Connecticut Penal Codes.
Trotta, of 116 Meadow Brook Lane, was also charged with risk of injury to a child. He was held on a $25,000 bond and was set to be arraigned Tuesday at Waterbury Superior Court.
