Police say a Stratford man was driving with a suspended commerical driver's license when he in Woodbury on June 21 and ended up in the Nonnewaug River.
Drew McDougall, of Placid Avenue, sustained minor injuries in the accident that knocked down 12 guard posts and 120 feet of guardrail, police said.
The approximately six hours after the accident took place.
According to a Woodbury fire official, McDougall swerved to avoid striking an animal.
