Stab Victim Declines Police Involvement

Case is closed after the victim, who sustained minor injuries, refused to give any details, police said.

The victim of reportedly told police "he did not see anything" and declined to press charges or name any suspects, police said.

"The victim did not wish for any police involvement and did not want to pursue the case," Stratford police traffic division commander Frank Eannotti told Stratford Patch via email.

The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. Friday. Eannotti said the victim was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene.

"At this time there are no suspects," Eannotti said. "All parties were uncooperative or 'did not see anything,' including the victim. Case is closed at this point."
