Report: Stratford Man Threatened to Kill Cops

The resident was reportedly armed with a loaded assault rifle when he made the threat.

A Stratford man reportedly greeted two police officers who showed up at his house for a domestic disturbance by pointing a loaded AK-47 at them.

Just as it appeared he was about to shot at the cops one officer slammed the front door on him, grabbed the gun barrel and they were able to wrestle it from the man and place him under arrest without any injuries, according to a report by the Connecticut Post

The man, Charles Buynovsky, 51, of Second Avenue, was hit with several charges on March 19, and police confiscated more than 50 firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, the CT Post reports.

According to the state Judicial Branch website, Buynovsky was held on a $750,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 24.
