The man who Shelton emergency crews pulled from the Housatonic River on Friday night has died.
The 55-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been released, died Saturday at Yale-New Haven hospital, according to an article by the Connecticut Post. He had originally been transported to Griffin Hospital following the boating accident on the Housatonic River, and was listed in critical condition at that time.
The man was one of three aboard a boat that reportedly struck an object near the Sunnyside boat ramp just before 7 p.m. on Dec. 7.
The accident remains under investigation by the state Department of Environmental and Energy Protection.
