Police Searching for Men Who Robbed Milford Bank at Gunpoint

Suspects were last seen headed toward I-95, police say.

Milford police say they are looking for two suspects involved in a Tuesday morning armed robbery at the General Electric Federal Credit Union at 265 Bic Drive.

Police say one of the suspects entered the bank about 8:45 a.m., brandished a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from a cash drawer.

The man then fled the scene in a green Honda Accord with the other suspect at the wheel.

The man who entered the bank is described as a thin black male, about 5-foot-9, with a mustache and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, denim jeans and black winter gloves with a snowflake design on the knuckles.

The driver is described as a light-skinned male wearing a gray hat.

The 1995 Honda Accord was a two-door model that bore the Connecticut license plate 865ZUL. Police say the car was last seen traveling southbound on Schoolhouse Road toward Interstate 95.
