October Stop By Stratford Police Leads to Further Burglary Charges

Raymond Reynolds has been linked to burglaries throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties.

Monroe police served a warrant for the arrest of a burglary suspect at court Friday morning. Raymond Reynolds, 29, who was already in prison for a string of burglaries in Oxford and Stratford, has also been linked to similar crimes throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties.

Items taken in the October burglary of a house were found in a search of Reynolds' vehicle by Stratford police officers on Oct. 22, according to police. Monroe officers then conducted a joint investigation with Stratford and Oxford police departments, which led to the town's arrest warrant.

Reynolds of Old State Road in Oxford was charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree larceny and held on $10,000 bond.
