Mother Calls Police on Son After Altercation

Young man runs into the woods barefoot and without a shirt before returning home and arrest.

On March 24, police were dispatched to Cutspring Road on a report of a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, police were greeted by a woman who said her son, later identified as Brian Lopez, 26, of Cutspring Road, was out of control and causing a problem.

The woman’s daughter told police that her brother came home from an earlier incident and he started arguing with her. The sister stated that her brother “gets very mean and nasty” and that she is afraid of him when he has been drinking.

When officers entered the house, Lopez took off and ran down into the basement and our through the garage into the woods barefoot and without a shirt. Additional officers were called to scene to locate Lopez, including the police canine, Roscoe.

Lopez reportedly came out of the woods, headed back toward his house and then went into the house.  When police went back into the house, Lopez came through the door and sat down on the floor. He was told to stand up so he could be placed under arrest.
