Milford Police Nab Stratford Man for Pot

Milford police arrested a 23-year-old Stratford man Thursday on marijuana charges.

Chaz McFadden of Feeley Street was found to be in possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop on Buckingham Avenue early Thursday, police said.

McFadden was also found to be in possession of packaging material, a weighing scale and other drug paraphernalia, police said.

The Stratford man was charged with possession of marijuana (less than 4 ounces); possession of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school; possession of marijuana with intent to sell; possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1500 feet of a school; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

McFadden's bond was set at $2,500. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 30.
