A 54-year-old Stratford man was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges of sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Mark Battey of Margherita Lawn was apprehended in Kent, Conn. and transported to the .
After a reportedly lengthy investigation into complaints against the Stratford man, police charged Battey with the following: second-degree sexual assault (2 counts), third-degree sexual assault (5 counts), fourth-degree sexual assault (15 counts), and 17 counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Battey was held on $200,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court later today.
