Head-on Collision in Stratford Hospitalizes Three

An accident Tuesday night sends three people to the hospital.

Three people are being hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries after a head-on collision near the corner of Stratford and Beardsley avenues.

According to a post on the Stratford Fire Department's Facebook page, the accident occurred around 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, and two of the patients suffered "lower extremity fractures."

Asst. Fire Chief Tim Brennan said three people were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Tonight's accident comes about 24 hours after a rollover on Broadbridge Avenue that required firefighters to extricate a patient from his vehicle. That man is reported to be in stable condition.
