Firemen Battle Structural Fire on Dahl Avenue
Early Friday morning kitchen fire quickly brought under control.
Stratford firemen responded to a call of a fire in a kitchen at 260 Dahl Avenue early this morning.
Officials reported that the call came in at 5:14 a.m., with Engines 1, 2, 4 and 5, plus Ladder 1 and Car 3 responding, in addition to EMS.
Upon arrival, Engine 2 reported they had heavy smoke coming from the front of a 1.5 story brick residential dwelling.

In all, 18 firefighters respondedto the call and had the fire completely under control within about 20 minutes. There were no reported injuries at the time of posting.
