A 72-year-old Milford woman died Sunday after her vehicle traveled off the Boston Post Road and struck a utility pole, police announced Monday.
The woman, Felicia Maruottolo, was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital, police said.
The Milford Police Department is currently investigating the motor vehicle accident, which occurred early Sunday at 12:57 a.m.
The vehicle was traveling westbound on the Boston Post Road near the Milford Market Place Plaza when it traveled off the roadway and struck the utility pole, according to police.
