Fairfield Police Arrest Stratford Man For Allegedly Possessing Illegal Fireworks, Weapons

Motor vehicle stop leads to arrest of Adam Litzie.

A Stratford man is accused of possessing illegal fireworks and faces weapons charges after a motor vehicle stop Tuesday morning in Fairfield.

Adam Litzie, 29, of Coolidge Street, was pulled over for allegedly driving 40 mph in a 25-mph zone on Old Post Road around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the Connecticut Post.

During the stop, a hatchet, illegal fireworks, as well as fireworks that are classified as explosives by the ATF and require a permit, were found in the car, according to the Connecticut Post.

Litzie was arrested on charges of illegal possession of explosives, possession of fireworks, and two counts of weapons in a motor vehicle. He was held on $5,000 bond and taken to Bridgeport Superior Court for arraignment later that day.

His ethnic background is what? Why didn't they call Homeland security? Oh wait hes not Abdul. This sounds to fishy to just let him go so easy. 1000's of people in the USA are injured or killed by highpowered illegal fireworks.
