Cops: Stratford Woman Stole Doctor's Pad for Drugs

Onilda Lopez, 35, of Stratford, was charged March 31 with sixth-degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance.

This was an investigation into the alleged theft of prescription pads from a doctor's office in Westport. The doctor's office received a phone call from a CVS pharmacy in Wethersfield inquiring about the written scripts, which were confirmed by the doctor's office as forged, police said.

During the investigation it was learned that Onilda, who was formally employed there, had stolen the script pads and forged them.

Onilda was taken into custody in Milford and transported to where she was processed without incident.

She posted a $10,000 bond and is due in Norwalk Superior Court April 9.
