Cops: Stratford Man Stalked Fairfield Woman

Thomas Ficke faces charges of second-degree stalking and second-degree harassment, police said.

A Stratford man was arrested Friday on charges that he allegedly stalked and harassed a Fairfield woman, police said.

Thomas Ficke, 46, of Park Street, turned himself in at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for his arrest.

The complainant filed a report in March and told police of Ficke's alleged ongoing stalking, harassing, and hostile behavior, which including repeated threatening texts, mailing items to her home, and driving by her residence to take photos, police said.

Police believed there was probable cause to apply for a warrant for Ficke's arrest, which was served Friday.

He was charged with second-degree stalking and second-degree harassment, according to the report. Ficke was scheduled to appear in court Friday.
