Cops: Man Extorted Females for Nude Photos

Jon Lisi of Stratford faces 17 counts of first-degree criminal attempt to commit larceny by extortion.

A Stratford man was charged Wednesday for allegedly extorting several females on the Internet for nude photos of themselves.

Jon Lisi of Summersweet Place turned himself in on an active arrest warrant, police said.

He is charged with 17 counts of first-degree criminal attempt to commit larceny by extortion. He was released on $50,000 bond.

According to a release from Lt. Frank Eannotti of Stratford's detective division: "The investigation began in early August when a female reported to Stratford police that she received an e-mail from an unknown male demanding nude photos of herself. When the female didn't respond to the email, Lisi sent her a photo of herself.

"It is unknown how Lisi obtained the photo. Lisi was tracked through Facebook and it was proven that Lisi was extorting a total of six females, two of which he actually posted photos on a pornographic website.

"During the execution of a search warrant on Oct. 12, two computers, a hard drive and a flash drive were seized from Lisi's residence. Lisi admitted extorting the females to police. Additional charges may be pending once his computer is analyzed."
