Cops: Crack Cocaine, Stolen Handgun, Drug Money Seized in Bust

An ongoing investigation into narcotics activity in Stratford – specifically the Honeyspot Road and Stratford Avenue area – netted two Bridgeport men Friday, Sept. 6, police said this week.

The arrests followed the execution of a search warrant on 40 Suggetts Lane in Bridgeport, where police said they seized an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine, suspected drug packaging materials, a loaded stolen handgun and about $3,000 in suspected drug money.

Daniel Lewis, 22, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, operating a drug factory, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, two counts of sale of crack cocaine within 1,500 feet of a school and two counts of sale of crack cocaine.

Lewis posted $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 17.

Devin Foster, 26, was charged with sale of crack cocaine within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell and operating a drug factory.
