Child, 5, Left At the Stratford Beach While His Family Went Home

Tianah Brown, 24, of Kelsey Street in Bridgeport, is accused of leaving her 5-year-old son at Short Beach in Stratford on Sunday, the Connecticut Post reports. 

Police received a call that there was a little boy wandering the beach Sunday evening. When police arrived the boy was crying and said his family had already left, the Post reports. 

When police visited the boy’s house in Bridgeport almost two hours later, the family didn’t realize he was missing, the Connecticut Post reports. 

Brown was charged with risk of injury to a minor.
