Body Found Behind McDonald's on Barnum Avenue

Police were reportedly called to the area behind the restaurant at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The body of an unidentified male was reportedly found behind the Barnum Avenue McDonald's in Stratford Tuesday afternoon.

The Hartford Courant reports that police were called to the wooded area behind the restaurant at about 12:30 p.m.

The investigation is just starting and it's not known if foul play was involved, the newspaper reports.

This comes less than three weeks after a 30-year-old Stamford man's body was found by the seawall in Stratford. That case also remains under investigation although police told the Connecticut Post "there were no signs of trauma or foul play."
