Alcohol & Texting Equals Trouble for Milford Man

Accused of harassing former girlfriend from Stratford with threatening text messages including a reference to a firearm.

It was not a good idea when a Milford man, who admitted drinking too much, decided it was time to try to win his old girlfriend back -- by threatening her via cell phone texting.

On March 6, Stratford police met at headquarters with a Stratford woman who complained of receiving harassing communications from her ex-boyfriend, identified by police as William Wolf, Jr., 28, of Milford.

The woman told police that Wolf had allegedly been sending her text messages that evening and among other things that he wanted her to meet him at a bar near his home in Milford.

She reported told him that she would not meet with him and was, in fact, dating another person. She then told police that Wolf became angry and texted her messages that scared her because “he was referencing firearms.”

She told police that she knew the messages were from him because they came from his cell phone number. She then showed police some of the messages that included:

8:25 pm: “hore. I gotta a 40mil waitin 4 u faggot bitches. Honestly come get some! I dare u! pussys. il kill u. and ur faggot crew. Wwwpbfc I hate u and wish we never met. I got a 9mil by my side no lie!”

8:44pm: “Dumb bitch. ur the only thing ive ever reet my brand new ak 47! No shit. Im already in hell so dnt test bitch.”

The woman told police that she was afraid of what he might do and she told police that about one year ago when they were dating that he attempted to damage her brake system on her vehicle. She told police that after they reconciled, he admitted to the act.

She also told police that she never saw him in possession of any guns and then gave police a sworn written statement detailing the incident earlier that evening.

Stratford police then joined Milford police and went to Wolf's home on New Haven Avenue to investigate. Wolf told police that the had been drinking and was in fact sending text messages to his former girlfriend.

He said he was angry and said some “stupid things.” Wolf was placed into custody and taken to Stratford headquarters when he was charged with second degree threatening and released on a promise to appear in court.
